New to Telehealth Checklist

This checklist outlines all the steps that you need to take to get started with Bask and telehealth. These steps will help guide you to create, open and promote your online telehealth storefront. Feel free to print this checklist or download it as a PDF so that you can refer to it throughout the setup process.

As a reminder, storefronts can vary quite drastically when using the Bask platform. Some businesses may need to take more steps than others to get started. This checklist is meant to be a guide and not a strict set of instructions. If you have any questions or need help, please reach out to us.

Before you start

Before you start setting up your telehealth business, it is important to understand your goals. Ask yourself basic questions about your business. What product are you looking to offer? What is your target audience? What kind of treatment options would you like to offer to your patients? These questions will help you understand what you need to do to get started.

  • Decide on the type of storefront that you would like to create
  • Understand which pricing plan you might need

Set up your online storefront (Onboarding)

Once you have a clear understanding of your business goals, you can start setting up your storefront. This section will help you understand the different steps that you need to take to get started.

Before you can start providing treatment to patients, you need to enter some information about yourself and your business. This is necessary to ensure that you are compliant with the laws and regulations relevant to your business. In addition, this information is used to automate the relevant compliance certification processes necessary in the telehealth space.

In addition, you also will setup some structure for your transactions, orders, and asynchronous visits. Also, you will setup your website and custom domain to make sure that your patients can find your business online.

  • Name your storefront and input your business credentials
  • Add your business address
  • Add your personal contact information
  • Select your e-prescribing workflow
  • Select your pharmacy fulfillment workflow
  • Provide information for payments and payouts
  • Add your business logo, brand colors, and business preferences
  • Add your product information
  • Provide your customer support information for patients
  • Add password protection to your store
  • Connect a custom domain
  • Invite your team members
  • Complete onboarding or the finish setup guide

Build and organize your store

The way you present your business to your patients is important. We built Bask so that you can completely customize how you present your business to your patients. You can start from a few prebuilt templates or themes to see what looks best, or you can start completely from scratch. Depending on how many different treatments you plan to offer, designing your storefront can be the most time-consuming part of setting up your business with Bask. However, it is important to get this right so that your patients can easily find what they are looking for.

Test your patient experience

Before you launch to real patients make sure you test out the experience you built. All accounts are automatically set to test mode until Bask gets back to you with the necessary certifications. Use this time to make sure the experience you built is working as expected.

Submit for certification

Once all of your designing, building and organizing is complete, you can submit your storefront for certification. This process is necessary to ensure that you are compliant with the laws and regulations relevant to your business. In addition, this process is necessary to ensure that your patients are protected and that you are able to provide treatment to them.

Open up for business

Once your storefront is designed, tested, and certified, you can open up for business. This means that you can start accepting patients and providing treatment. You can also start promoting your business to your patients and start growing your business. You can remove the password protected screen, and let the patient experience begin.

Import your treatment to other sales channels

After you launch your telehealth store and patient experience, you might want to explore ways to get more patients. One of the best ways is to connect your Bask account to Facebook, Instagram and Google.

Promote your business

After you launch your telehealth store and patient experience, connect it to other sales channels, you might want to explore other ways of acquiring get more patients. You can improve your store's visibility by adding the information that will be used by search engines and by promoting your store in all of the appropriate spaces.
